‘Dichte Gaten’ is één van mijn thema’s, waarbij oorspronkelijke openingen gedicht zijn. Het is in tegenspraak met zichzelf.
Soms grappig, maar het kan ook benauwend zijn.
MUZIEK
Met het zoekwoord ‘vluchten’ kwam ik de melodie ‘Coridon waar wilt gij vlucgten’ tegen. De melodie is oorspronkelijk bekend onder de titel ‘Branle Parthenice’. Mijn versie is uit de bundel “Boerenliedjes” (1713). De vroegste versie (voor luit) is uit 1623, en komt voor tot 1758. De melancholieke melodie in mineur is ruim 70 maal gebruikt voor liedteksten.

‘Closed Holes’ is one of my reoccurring themes, whereby original openings have been sealed up. It is actually a contradiction in terms.
Sometimes the vision is funny, but it can also be oppressive.
MUSIC
Using the search word ‘vluchten’ (flee) in my computer, I came across the tune ‘Coridon waar wilt gij vlucgten’ (Coridon, where do you want to escape (flee) to). The tune was originally known under the title ‘Branle Parthenice’. My version here is taken from the collection ‘Boerenliedjes’ (1713). The earliest known version composed for the lute dates from 1623, and was widely played up until 1758. The melancholic tune in a minor key has been used over seventy (70) times to accompany various songs.
